He clearly and concisely discusses not ghe the restraints and problems the American Presidents were facing during negotiations, but also those of the Soviet leadership. I find myself comparing Melvyn P. The truth is, however, that at the end of the day, governments are run by human beings shaped by memories and cultural values. One would also have liked to read more about the role of European leaders, both East and West, in the gor and ideological struggle, but perhaps that is too much to include in one book.
I think Leffler can see very well the general ideas that both sides of the war was like.
